Journey to Pangnirtung, Nunavut

Date Posted: March 9, 2010

Photographer: Michelle Valberg

Today was surreal.  I was taken by Joavie on an Inuit sled to the National Park 31 kms from Pang.  With the wind it was about -35 degrees, the wind was intense, the experience amazing!  I giggled most of the way as I was in disbelief I was living a dream.  Thank goodness for a Canada Goose jacket given to me by my friend Dave from Pond.  The light made for interesting shooting, not to mention the severe cold caused a few issues.  It was a good challenge and I loved every minute.  What a day!!!!  I LOVE my job.
