Valberg Imaging Inc. is the only "combined" photography studio and gallery in Ottawa located in the heart of the Westboro Village. Valberg Imaging is owned and operated by Ottawa photographer Michelle Valberg. This full service photography firm has set new standards of excellence with its innovative blend of art and science. Valberg Imaging is one of the first all-digital photography studios in Ottawa, specializing in executive and family portraits (in studio or on location), corporate and commercial photography, weddings and events, annual reports, graphic design, website, and advertising photography. Valberg Imaging’s photography gallery displays and promotes photography as art retailing framed and unframed artwork. Most of the artwork shown in the gallery is by Michelle Valberg, however, visiting artists are welcomed twice a year. The Valberg team are members of the Professional Photographers of Canada and the Professional Photographers of Ontario and Michelle is nationally accredited in the fashion, weddings, portraits, fine art, nature, landscape and child portrait categories. In March 2004, Michelle Valberg was honoured as Ottawa's Businesswoman of the Year presented by the Women's Business Network and the Ottawa Citizen and she also became a recipient of the Ottawa Business Journal's 40 Under 40 Awards in June 2004. Michelle was nominated by Algonquin College for the prestigious Premier Award and she will be the recipient of the 2005 Quality of Life Award in November.
